Obviously it takes more than a "good time" to make life truly exciting, and what our church is about is helping people find a joyful and exciting life that comes from a real relationship with Jesus Christ. Many people in our area might go to some church and believe in God, but it takes more than just believing in God or sitting in a church pew to find the kind of life people are looking for. Our church has a spiritual growth ROCK plan that will help you discover that very "abundant life" or "life that rocks" that Jesus said He came to give. Many people – over 500,000 in the New Orleans area – are not part of a church because they see the church as boring or irrelevant to their lives. Yet if we could spend five seconds in Heaven our churches would be very different. That's why we are going to have music at our worship service that is FUN, help FAMILIES find Biblical answers to their daily struggles, promote the kind of FAITH that helps our community, lead people in discovering the FUTURE God has in store for them, and help people find FREEDOM from the problems that hold their lives down. This is what our church is all about, and we hope you will check us out this week! "How can I get connected to your church?"Because we are a brand new church, the present way you can get connected is by coming to one of our home Bible study groups or one of our SAINT Team Meetings. For the near future, we are also working on our Rock Solid Community Center and Rock Café as more ways to get connected to our church. We will also have podcasting and media downloads on our website that will allow you to grow and be connected to our church. If you give this way through your online bank bill pay system, our church will not have to pay fees to PayPal. "How can I become a member of the church?"Once per month we have our church's Membership Class at Pastor Jim's home. This is a one time class, and once you complete the class, you will become an official member of Crescent City Rock.
